Responsibilities

  • LIS (user interfaces) : iLab WEB, iLab.NET
    • Provide user support for issues
    • Maintain iLab WEB asp pages
    • Develop new iLab.NET areas
    • Create/Maintain instructional documentation for both WEB and .NET
  • LIS (database) : SQL Server
    • Maintain data as needed
    • Add, alter or remove database logic/objects as needed for solutions
    • Create reports for management as needed based on specific criteria, this includes one-off as well as regularly recurring reports
  • LIMS (MS Access databases) : TomMax, Blot, Capture, IFA, PCR 
    • Provide user support for issues
    • Add, alter or remove code/objects of database as needed for solutions
    • Create/Maintain instructional documentation
  • Label Printing : .NET executables
    • Provide user support
    • Executable development/maintenance 
  • Analyzes user needs and system capabilities, provides direction to end-users. Contributes to identification of trade-offs between user requirements and technical issues.
  • Contributes with all Software design and development requests and other data access solutions to support implementation.
  • Follows all company safety policies & other safety procedures within work area
  • Regular attendance and timeliness is essential

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 5+ years Software Development work experience, laboratory information systems preferred
  • 3-5 years Database Development work experience, Database Administration experience a plus
  • Experience with the following a strong plus C#, .NET 4.0+, T-SQL,MS Office development VBA (MS Access, MS Excel), ASP/VBScript/Javascript
