The Director of Laboratory Operations is accountable for planning, directing and coordinating the laboratory management team to ensure all testing activities comply with internal quality systems and are in full compliance with all regulatory requirements. This position provides leadership and assumes responsibility and accountability for the provision of patient care and organizes, directs and controls all clinical and administrative activities. A continuous improvement mentality will be critical to maximize the quality of our service and its utility to our customers, to improve efficiency and reduce costs. This position is subject to organization policies and goals, and must establish plans and recommend policies and priorities.
