Overview

The Global Product Manager, Tuberculosis is responsible for the core product line, T-SPOT.TB and will be responsible for developing and executing a customer centric growth strategy.  They will be responsible for product life cycle management and provide support for regional sales and marketing initiatives to drive global growth and market share. 

 

This role is critical for developing a differentiation strategy and to align with our automation ambition that will ensure we have solutions that meet the efficiency requirements of all our target customer groups.

Up to 30% international travel required

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of the full life-cycle global product management activities of high growth products within our tuberculosis product line that provide high clinical value
  • Proactively identify market opportunities and create strategies to drive growth that can be shared widely across the business
  • Map and understand the full customer journey, own and develop tactical and strategic marketing plans, promote them, securing support for their execution with internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop strong relationships with industry experts, customers and business partners.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and market research to drive product strategy
  • Align plans with other global product managers to ensure consistent messaging to the regional commercial teams, customers and business partners
  • Engage with regional and local marketing to provide meaningful updates on product performance, competitive activities, scientific data and other relevant information
  • Attend regional, national or international conferences representing the Company and its products. These may require national or international travel and/or working on weekends.
  • Deliver VOC and VOS to inform product requirements and commercialization plans.
  • Provide commercial leadership to the new product development process for any TB projects, representing a consolidated global viewpoint.
  • Support the development of regional and national go-to-market strategies to maximize revenue potential.
  • Lead global product launch programs for any new TB products or clinical application.
  • Define 5 year revenue plans and provide quantitative and qualitative reporting of sales performance against plan.
  • Consolidate regional annual revenue and margin plans for the TB product line to support the strategic planning process.
  • Display a positive attitude towards feedback and self-improvement and demonstrating an ability to learn new competencies and ways of working

Qualifications

We believe that a Master degree within Business/marketing or science with proven product management track record would be relevant for this role. Furthermore, the following competencies strengthen your position to qualify for the job:

  • IVD Industry experience of 5 or more years strongly preferred
  • Experience from full life-cycle management of products including experience with core team participation, product launches, go-to-market strategies and developing strategic value propositions for key stakeholders
  • Commercial experience ideally within medical devices, diagnostics, or the healthcare business
  • Experience working closely with scientific/medical affairs colleagues to identify opportunities to improve clinical advantages
  • Excellent analytical abilities enabling you to deliver strategic analyses to management
  • Ability to take the lead on tactical and strategic initiatives to support growth
  • Capable of working effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong ability to work cross functionally with other parts of the organization including R&D and regulatory
