Overview

The Marketing Communications Manager will be responsible for coordinating, planning, developing and implementing communication and branding activities for the company, to include integrated strategic and tactical marketing efforts. This person will work closely with product marketing teams in the Americas region and globally as appropriate based on projects, to achieve commercial goals, including revenue and market share.

  • Develop and write marketing collateral printed for the company including brochures, sheets, web content, e-blasts and any other material the organization makes public to customers, potential customers, investors, media and any other public audiences
  • Develop and implement strategic communication plans aligned with marketing plans
  • Lead regional social media and website management, summarizing statistical reports from analytical services (CRM, Google Analytics, marketing automation system), creating and executing targeted e-mail campaigns and programs and assisting with graphic and digital design as needed
  • Create and manage digital campaign lifecycles
  • Manage the Oxford Immunotec brand(s) and ensure consistency of global usage
  • Responsible for delivery of the campaign/project management process from kickoff to completion, including regular (monthly & quarterly) data reports and updates that include budget, timing, and results
  • Collaborate and proactively engage with cross-functional teams across marketing, sales, scientific affairs, and development to coordinate, communicate and optimize programs to develop messaging and positioning aligned with business requirements and Oxford Immunotec brand(s)
  • Manage US marketing events program (planning, execution, analysis) with approximately 10-12 national tradeshows and numerous regional events
  • Manage projects, create and execute measurable, multi-channel communication campaigns and content to support the promotion and commercialization of solutions nationally
  • Ensure that content is reviewed and taken through proper Regulatory approvals
  • Select & Manage vendors and contractors as needed

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • BA, BS, BSc (or equivalent), preferably in business, marketing or the natural sciences
  • 5-7+ years of experience in marketing communications, branding, integrated campaign development, digital content development
  • Preferred knowledge in the industry of pharmaceutical, medical device, academic research, clinical research or other similar field
  • Communications expertise with emphasis on integrated content development
  • Experience managing communication projects, vendors/contractors
  • Track record of delivering measurable, successful multi-channel campaigns
  • Strong verbal and written analytical/problem solving, communication, negotiation, interpersonal and presentation skills essential
  • Requires analytical skills to plan, design, or enhance complex systems and programs, resolve problems requiring a comprehensive awareness of automation and scientific fields
  • Comprehensive skills in computer and proficiency in Creative Suite, Website CMS (content management systems), marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot and Wistia
  • Global experience and fluency in Spanish preferred
